New! Social Skills Curriculum Resources

Me Kids Kids has just released a Teaching Manual and Student Workbook for use with its video modeling DVD "Time for School." The Time for School DVD demonstrates social skills by modeling peer behavior such as listen to the teacher, share, sit quietly, take turns, show interest in others, playground behavior, and more. Designed as a teaching tool for children and teenagers with Autism and Asperger Syndrome, Model Me Kids videos are used by parents, teachers, and therapists.

The Time for School Teaching Manual contains lesson plans for each of the DVD chapters as well as At-Home activities to help support generalization. The Student Workbook has worksheets and activities to reinforce the lessons from the DVD. Teachers may use the materials as the foundation for building a social skills curriculum. Parents can use the materials to help structure home-based social skills instruction.
